Makita MAC2400 2.5 HP* Big Bore™ Air Compressor

When I first got the Makita MAC2400, I wasn’t sure if I was looking at an air compressor or a small car engine. This thing is a beast! But once I got over its size, I was blown away by its power and efficiency.

The Big Bore™ cylinder cast iron pump has a faster recovery time and provides more air flow, which means less downtime waiting for the tank to fill up. It’s also oil lubricated for cooler running temperatures and to reduce wear and tear.

The 2.5 HP motor delivers enough power for my home garage needs, and the 4.2-gallon tank provides plenty of air capacity for most jobs. It also has a built-in thermal overload for added safety.

The roll-cage construction and rubber feet make it stable and durable, and the low noise level is a huge plus. I can use it in my garage without disturbing the neighbors or the rest of the family.

Overall, I’m really impressed with the Makita MAC2400. It’s a solid, dependable air compressor that gets the job done quickly and quietly. And if you’re looking for a workhorse that will last for years, this is definitely one to consider.
